WHAT IS COACHING?Â
Gain clarity. Explore possibilities. Move forward with intention. Coaching is a collaborative, thought-provoking process designed to help you clarify what you want, explore what may be getting in the way, and identify a path forward that feels right for you. Rather than giving advice or prescribing solutions, I use questions, reflection, and structured conversation to help you access your own insight and translate it into intentional choices and action.
WHAT DOES A SESSION LOOK LIKE?
1
Define the relationship
Establish expectations, boundaries, preferences, and anything you would like me to know to help you feel comfortable and supported.
2
Explore the bigger picture
Especially in our first session, there is space to share what is going on in your world, what brought you to coaching, and what feels important right now.
3
Define the focus
Agree on what would be most useful to explore and what you would like to walk away with.
4
Explore
Examine your thinking, assumptions, strengths, obstacles, and possibilities. I may reflect patterns or invite you to consider perspectives you have not explored.
5
Identify what emerges
Notice a new insight, different perspective, greater clarity, a decision, or a better understanding of what you want.
6
Decide what comes next
Choose an action, experiment, reflection, or commitment to carry forward.
You remain the expert on your own life and circumstances. My role is to support the thinking that helps you decide what comes next.
WHAT CAN WE WORK ON?
Coaching can be useful when you are:
- Navigating a career transition or new role
- Facing an important decision
- Feeling stuck or unclear about what comes next
- Developing your leadership or communication style
- Managing competing priorities
- Building confidence in how you show up professionally
- Working toward a goal but struggling to gain momentum
- Adjusting to change, growth, or increased responsibility
- Clarifying your values, strengths, or direction
WHAT COACHING IS - AND ISN'T
Coaching is distinct from therapy, consulting, and mentorship. Rather than diagnosing, treating, or providing expert solutions, coaching supports clients in developing their own awareness, choices, and path forward.
I adhere to professional standards of ethics, confidentiality, conduct, and appropriate boundaries. I am not a licensed therapist, and coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment.

ABOUT LINDLEY
I am a Master of Science candidate in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and am currently completing professional coach training toward ICF credentialing.
My professional experience spans editorial fashion, fashion styling, UX research & design, manufacturing, luxury retail, hospitality, and behavioral health. My training also includes CBT, product management, and Agile development.
Working across creative, technical, business, and behavioral-health environments has shaped my interest in how people think, communicate, make decisions, navigate change, and perform within complex systems.
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING TO COACHING?
You do not need to prepare anything formal or know exactly what you want to work on. Bring whatever feels most relevant right now - a decision, challenge, goal, transition, question, or even a general sense that something could be different.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Coaching is collaborative and client-led. Sessions are confidential within professional and ethical boundaries, and we will agree together on how we work, what you want from the conversation, and what feels useful to carry forward.
CURRENTLY ACCEPTING COACHING CLIENTS
As part of my ICF credentialing process, I am currently accepting a limited number of clients for complimentary coaching sessions.
These sessions are specifically for coaching and are separate from consulting, mentorship, or therapy. My future practice will also include consulting and advisory services, offered as distinct professional modalities.
